Pulling in to Al Azhar`s drive, you`ll be greeted by the house`s imposing presence. The main entrance is accessed via an external staircase shaded by an enormous rubber tree; upon entering you have access to a grand drawing room with large windows that look out towards the Gotmar hills. This is the perfect place to enjoy a good read; there is a fireplace, grand piano and large arm chairs to sink in to cosily after a long day of exploration. Connected to the entrance hall is also the striking teal dining room, and between the dining room and drawing room there is smaller living room with a TV and access to a covered terrace.
From the dining room you can head through to the very spacious kitchen which has all necessary amenities including a dishwasher and microwave, as well as a breakfast bar and a small adjacent terrace with table and chairs for breakfasts al fresco.
Upstairs Al Azhar is just as characterful. There are 3 bedrooms on this floor; two double bedrooms and a children`s dormitory with three small sized single beds and a cot. Two family bathrooms are shared between these bedrooms, each with a shower-bath. Furthermore there is a 4th bedroom on the ground floor with an en suite bathroom and independent entrance.
Outdoors Al Azhar has an impressive array of seating arrangements, from small coffee tables for two on the front balconies to a large covered dining area accessed via the living room. There are plenty of plants, both local and exotic, to provide a screen from the outside world, affording all the privacy you need whilst lazing around the 4x8m swimming pool (depth 0.50m - 1.80m).
A veritable oasis to be found on in the Pollensa area of Northern Mallorca, whilst remaining just a short distance from the surrounding towns, Al Azhar offers the best of both worlds for discerning travellers.
